Two months ago, at the RSS Conference, I listen live to Hannah Fry . I was a great admirer of her long before then due to her amazing BBC documentaries of how Mathematics is surrounding us in real life, every day, everywhere.
At the conference, Hannah was promoting her latest book “Hello World” in which she talks about how supermarkets can guess events in women’s life or if you are a serious cook and eat mostly from scratch meals, about how some people would like a computer to analyse in court the sentence of a possible criminal, or should it be a human?

On the way back from Cardiff, I read the book and I couldn’t stop reading it until I reached the end – it is one of those rare ones.
I even have a copy with her autograph!
